Start in chair, move to standing and then to floor. Good for those that have trouble getting up and down.

Awareness Through Movement® w/ Julie

Awareness Through Movement® is part of the Feldenkrais Method®. During Awareness Through Movement® classes, students are verbally guided through movement sequences.  The movements are slow and gentle, allowing for sensing, awareness, and learning about individual habits and patterns as well as minimizing unnecessary muscular effort.  Benefits often include improved ease and efficiency of movement, flexibility, posture, and comfort.

Pilates Mat w/Judi or Sandi 

Pilates Mat Class utilizes the techniques developed by Joseph Pilates for strength, flexibility and endurance. The focus is on core stability, including pelvic and shoulder girdle stabilization, neutral alignment and breathing. Mats are used on an open wood floor along with a variety of small equipment including a variety of balls, fitness stretch band, roller tubes, fitness circles and stability cushions.
